1st Vice President & Registrar Thomas Dunne received two awards this year. Tom received the Bronze Good Citizenship award at the suggestion of State Graves Registry Committee Chair Daryl VerStreate. Tom has furnished hundreds of photos for the graves website; worked to get a new gravestone from the Veterans Administration for his great uncle Jotham Bemus and traveled with Daryl to Buffalo to install it.

Tom receives Bronze Good Citizenship Award from President Africa

Tom also received the SAR Meritorious Service Medal and Certificate for volunteering to step in as 1st Vice President when the position became vacant and to continue on as Chapter registrar; for working hard to help anyone find their ancestors inside and outside the SAR and the Saratoga Battle Chapter; for working with the DAR on events; for diligently working hard at member retention during the last two dues collections and finally for encouraging our current officers and for recruiting new candidates to fill officer positions and committee chairs.

Tim filled in as Secretary at meetings on a few occasions.
