The Bemis Heights and Schuyler C.A.R. Societies were formally reorganized at the State DAR Conference that was held at the Prime Hotel in Saratoga Springs, NY on Saturday, September 27, 2003. The Chapter is a co-sponsor of the Bemis Heights Society with the Saratoga and Willard mountain DAR Chapters and a co-sponsor of the Schuyler Society with the Peter Gansevoort Chapter, DAR. Chapter member Stephen C. Coye is Sr. Vice President of the Bemis Heights Chapter while Chapter President Duane Booth is the Senior Treasurer. Chapter Treasurer Richard H. Fullam is the Senior Treasurer of the Schuyler Society.

Other Chapter members actively involved in the C.A.R. are Past Empire State Society President, and Past Chapter President, Ronald E. Newton and his son David O. Newton. Ron is currently serving as Senior State Registrar of the Maine Society while David is serving as their Senior State Treasurer.
