On May 17, 2025 the Saratoga Battle Chapter Color Guard and the Saratoga Chapter DAR also participated in a marker
dedication at Rock City Falls Cemetery honoring three Revolutionary War veterans buried there.
The veterans so honored:
- Lemuel Herrick, Pvt. Connecticut State Militia
- Daniel Rathbun Jr., Pvt. Massachusetts State Militia
- Abel Whalen, Capt. 9th Regt., Albany Co. Militia
The marker placement was the work of Milton Town Historian and New York State Color Guard Commander Michael Companion.
