• Friday, August 16th, 2024 - Annual Battle of Bennington Commemoration
  
  Each year on the anniversary of the Battle of Bennington (which occurred in New York), a commemoration ceremony at the New York State Bennington Battlefield Historic Site, NYS Rt 67, Walloomsac, NY. More information as it becomes available.
  
  

September 2024

• Sunday, September 15, 2024, 2:00 pm - DAR Annual Wreath Laying at stop #2 of the Saratoga National Park's Tour Road (DAR Monument).
  
  The wreath laying is at Stop 2 (DAR Monument) of the Saratoga National Historical Park Tour Road in Stillwater, NY.
  
  A moving and colorful event commemorating those who fought here and those who serve in America's military. Our chapter bi-annual meeting and awards dinner will now take place from 4 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in the Speakeasy Party Room at The Factory Eatery & Spirits in Ballston Spa. • Sunday, September 15, 2024, 4-7 pm - Autumn Membership Meeting and Dinner
  
  Our bi-annual meeting and awards dinner will now take place from 4 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in the Speakeasy Party Room at The Factory Eatery & Spirits in Ballston Spa.
  
  Honored guests will include Empire State Society, Sons of the American Revolution President David W. Powell; ESSSAR VP for the Capital Region Timothy Middlebrook; and NYS Society of the Children of the American Revolution President; Daniel Klinkenberg. The cost is $37 per-person.   We’re extending a warm dinner invitation to the Daughters of the American Revolution who we’ll join earlier Sunday for a solemn 2 p.m. wreath presentation at the Monument to the Unknown American Dead at Saratoga National Historical Park. Invited as well are our brothers and sisters at the Saratoga-Wilton Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 161 and the Willard Camp 154, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
